Due to continued success, they are experiencing rapid growth and are adding a SENIOR CONTROLS TECHNICIAN to their London based team. The successful candidate will be out at customer sites providing technical assistance, programming PLCs as well as commissioning and testing of all related equipment and systems. Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide technical assistance in the development and execution of automation and/or controls solutions.
- Provide design services using Solidworks Electrical 2D.
- Provide programming services including PLC, HMI and robotics.
- Liaise with customers for complete project life cycles from inception to buy-off.
- Provide assistance on administrative tasks including reporting.
- On-site commissioning and testing.
Position Requirements
- At least 3 years of relevant work experience relating to automation and controls.
- Project management experience including resource scheduling, budgeting, customer relations.
- Proficient with industrial drafting, ideally with AutoCAD, AutoCAD Electrical, Solid Works Electrical.
- Experience with industrial programming (Beckhoff, Allen Bradley, Siemens, Omron).
- Proficient with industrial programming languages such as Ladder, STL.
- Must have strong mechanical and electrical aptitude.
- Exceptional organizational, multi-tasking and problem-solving skills.
- Self-starter who his motivated and able to work independently.
- Positive attitude with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
