Our client is a highly respected local food manufacturer that specializes in unique gourmet treats in a niche market. Their team has grown to 140 employees and recently relocated to a new, state-of-the art facility. On their behalf, we are searching for a highly skilled individual who will be laser focused on analyzing current business processes, identifying areas for improvement and searching for efficiency gains.
Key Functions
- Develop a deep understanding of processes, data and technology.
- Play a key role in the improvement of operational reliability, safety, efficiency, waste, and help deliver the best possible value to customers.
- Work closely with leadership, manufacturing team and other operations stakeholders to analyze current business processes, identify areas for improvement and search for efficiency gains.
- Collect and report daily, weekly, and monthly production data and KPI’s in an efficient, accurate, and timely manner to support monthly scorecard development.
- Track project progress and KPIs, collaborate with leadership to create dashboards for reporting metrics.
- Design and execute test plans to ensure the quality and usability of new or enhanced systems and processes.
Qualifications
- Relevant post-secondary education relating to business, data management or engineering.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a business, data, process analysis related position.
- Experience within food manufacturing environment.
- Highly skilled with quantitative analysis and proficient with lean manufacturing principles.
- Excellent interpersonal and communications skills required.
- Ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
