Shipping and Receiving Coordinator (30 minutes from London)

Our client is a global manufacturing leader who has a diversified client base across the construction, agricultural, transportation and the marine industries, not the automotive industry. They are currently searching for an experienced SHIPPING & RECEIVING COORDINATOR to join their team at their facility located approximately 30 minutes from London. The successful individual will be responsible for creating, organizing and maintaining all necessary shipping/receiving documentation and paperwork for a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Duties

  • Ship all parts and materials as required including assisting with the organization and preparation of shipments accurately according to daily shipment lists while ensuring customer products are shipped on-time.
  • Work with warehouse team to ensure inbound orders are received, inputted into ERP system, inspected for accuracy according to packing list, quality inspected and put away to stock locations.
  • Complete production material picking lists to avoid production line stoppages.
  • Communicate immediately to warehouse supervisor discrepancies between orders and goods, such as delays, condition, weight, quality, etc.
  • Arrange UPS shipments to support production department activities such as tool crib, maintenance and etc.
  • Coordinate packing and shipping of all goods, including assembling packages, weighing them, and a fixing proper shipment labels per shipping department requirements.
  • Proactively address inaccuracy of inventory, should it occur.
  • Accurately perform inventory stock level count.
  • Ensure sufficient stock on of shipping/receiving supplies.
  • Perform general housekeeping tasks within the shipping & receiving area, which includes warehouse racking bin locations and aisle ways maintain an organized and clean warehouse environment.
  • Assist in training and providing guidance to team members as needed.

Qualifications

  • Previous shipping & receiving clerical/administrative  experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Strong organizational skills with a high attention to detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Access to reliable transportation as this company is located 30 minutes north of London.
